Hosting and basic technical data
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver and protect the site, which can include IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security signals. Cloudflare may retain and use that data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled to provide aggregate information about site visits and performance. TideSmack does not add Google Analytics, advertising pixels, heatmaps, or session-replay tools. The site does not use a cookie banner because it does not currently set nonessential cookies.
Quote submissions
When you use the quote builder, TideSmack receives the information you choose to provide, such as your name, business name, contact details, location, industry, current website, project needs, content readiness, selected features, timeline, and project notes.
Submissions are validated by a Cloudflare Pages Function and sent through Resend to [email protected]. Resend processes the message for email delivery. If online delivery is unavailable, you can use the prepared email fallback instead. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, health information, or other sensitive personal information through the form.
Email communication
If you email TideSmack or submit a quote request, the message and related correspondence are used to respond, evaluate the project, maintain business records, prevent abuse, and follow up when appropriate. TideSmack does not sell this information.
Theme preference and fonts
The light or dark theme you select is stored locally in your browser. It is not sent to TideSmack. TideSmack pages load Instrument Serif and Instrument Sans from Google Fonts. The fictional examples load their own Google Fonts. Requests to Google may disclose ordinary connection data such as your IP address and browser information to Google.
Retention
Inquiry records are kept only as long as reasonably useful for responding, evaluating a possible project, meeting legal or accounting obligations, resolving disputes, and preventing abuse. Messages that do not lead to work may be deleted during routine mailbox cleanup. Cloudflare, Resend, Google, and email providers maintain their own retention practices.
Security limitations
Reasonable measures are used to limit access and reduce abuse, including encrypted hosting connections, server-side validation, payload limits, and spam checks. No website, email system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your requests
You may ask TideSmack to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you, subject to legal and operational limits. Email [email protected] and provide enough detail to identify the relevant correspondence.
Children's privacy
This business website is not directed to children under 13, and TideSmack does not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. If you believe a child submitted personal information, please make contact so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.
Policy updates
This policy may change when the website, service providers, or practices change. The updated date at the top identifies the current version.
